Feature Article: Our Lucerne Valley Sanctuary
Our 5 acre Lucerne Valley Sanctuary was founded in 1998 by Bear Mountain Dog Rescue and serves as a safe haven for our medium to large breed dogs. Some of the dogs pictured here have been with us for many months, some even years. Small dogs & puppies are adopted 10/1 over large breed dogs, so it's important to support this sanctuary & offer these wonderful dogs a special place.
It is always amazing to watch the kennel staff work so beautifully with our dogs. Cleaning, feeding and training them, our staff gives each dog daily care & individual attention. Offering this sort of emotional support takes a special staff and the crew who work in the LV Sanctuary are among the best! Everyone knows the importance of play time, grooming, socialization, and PRAISE!
Remember, we are NOT government-supported. We exist solely on donations from you, so PLEASE, please remember these dogs wehn you consider adopting a large dog. All of these dogs are friendly & sociable, waiting for the right family to discover them and adopt them into their households. For information about our medium to large breed dogs at our Lucerne Valley facility, please make an appointment with Barc at 951-845-1513.
